Cicada Spindle and fiber set-orange and pink

Cicadas collected (after dying on the ground) dried and their wings cast in resin to build a spindle worl. Shafts made from recycled Tunisian crochet hooks (found at second hand shops).

Maching fiber is 3.9oz of Merino, Corriedale, Rambouillet, Silk, Sari Silk, Alpaca, and Tweed.
